Plan-b Staff Support @Heart

Plan-b’s staff have raised over $2,000 for the @Heart charity.

One of our team has a child with a very serious heart condition (you may have read their story in the NZ Herald in December). When we decided to raise funds for a local charity @Heart were the obvious choice for us to support.

@Heart (formerly Heart Children NZ) looks after heart kids right through life with their Kids@Heart, Teens@Heart and Adults@Heart programmes.

We were very pleased to be able to present @Heart with a cheque for $2,265 to help them continue their work with New Zealand families. The donation came from staff fundraising activities including a Movember-inspired challenge and staff raffle.

We would like to thank Bammas Surf Shop in Mangawhai for donating a surfboard for our raffle as part of the fundraising efforts.
